SkyHawks Parachute Team
A tiny speck appears high above the airfield. Then another. And another. Suddenly the sky blossoms with color as parachutes burst open drifting down from the clouds. Get ready for a spectacular aerial descent unlike anything else at the International Sanicole Airshow 2026: the Canadian Parachute Team SkyHawks!
As the jumpers descend, they demonstrate the astonishing maneuverability of modern parachutes, gliding, spiraling, and forming precise aerial patterns before touching down with pinpoint accuracy.
For more than 50 years, the Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team SkyHawks have represented Canada with pride on stages around the world. Based in Trenton, Ontario, the team operates as a sub-unit of the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre and consists of elite parachutists who combine military discipline with show-stopping performance. Their display blends high-speed freefall, intricate canopy formations, and thrilling landings, all accompanied by engaging commentary that reveals the skill and science behind every move.
Sanicole audiences may remember their three unforgettable appearances since 2010, when their jumps became highlights of the show. Now they return to Belgian skies to deliver another breathtaking performance that will have every eye fixed upward.
When the aircraft doors open and the jumpers step into the sky, the airfield becomes their stage and gravity their dance partner.
Be there on 12 & 13 September 2026 and watch the SkyHawks turn the sky above Hechtel-Eksel in Belgium into a living tribute to airborne skill, courage, and precision.
